Now most people have started work on the Valero shutdown, the madness of the last couple of months is starting to ease off!
This gives me chance to say a massive thank you to the team at Providence for pulling out all the stops to meet the training needs of those looking for work on Valero and the companies employing them.
In particular, thank you Clive Lawrence for coping with the majority of the CCNSG training, including weekends, during a difficult personal period.
Lastly an apology to anyone we couldn’t help – we really did pull out all the stops, scheduling lots of extra courses, but unfortunately we do not have unlimited capacity and we are restricted by the ECITB on the number of people we can train on one course.
For those looking to get onto the larger shutdown next year, my only advice is to book early and don’t get caught out!
