Congratulations to our last intake of aspiring welders. After completing an intensive 5 day course at Providence Training they all achieved a welder coding.
Part of a larger group, they also completed 9 days of ECITB courses under the ECI Skills Accelerator 2 project which we are running in partnership with Pembrokeshire College and is funded by UK Governments Social Prosperity Fund.
The aim of the Project is to provide relevant awards plus basic experience and skills to those considering employment within the Engineering Construction Sector. Participants can then either seek immediate, low level, employment or build on this foundation through more advanced training with other institutions such as Pembrokeshire College.
