SITE SKILLS +

GET READY FOR THE VALERO SHUTDOWN PLANNED FOR SEPTEMBER 2027

Round two of this project offers up to 7 days of free training. Gain 5 ECITB accredited awards including your CCNSG Card.

During this shutdown there will be demand for Fire Watchers and Labourers. These courses have been selected to give you the best chances of gaining one of these roles.

What’s it all about?

Opportunities to work in the Energy Sector have never been better and will only improve. The Government is driving for greener energy and for the UK to become more self sufficient. As a result, projects are being commissioned across the UK. From wave and wind generation, Hydrogen generation and Carbon capture to nuclear power stations there are and will be an abundance of opportunities for those with the right skills and qualifications.

For many years now, the companies that work on these types of sites have struggled to employ enough people to complete the required work on time. This Skills Shortage has been widely recognised and this project is one of the initiatives put in place to help solve the problem.
