First Aid Courses
GENERAL
Providence Training’s Emergency First and First Aid at Work courses are scheduled regularly at our Centre in Neyland, Pembrokeshire. They are also available to be booked as a company or organisation specific course which could be held at our Centre, at your premises or site or any suitable third party venue.
During our lifetime, it is highly likely that we will be confronted by a medical emergency, whether it be colleague, a loved one or a member of the public. Our Highfield accredited Level 3 First Aid training is not only designed to meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work Regulations but will provide you with the skills and knowledge to make a real difference in an emergency no matter where you are.
Emergency First Aid at Work

| Theory Assessment: | Multiple choice theory assessment. |
| Practical Assessment: | Yes |
| Scheduled: | Monthly at our Centre or on demand at your site/premises. |
| What you will need: | A good level of English literacy, the physical ability to perform First Aid exercises on the floor, NI Number and clothing suitable for floor based work. |
| Additional Info: | On successful completion your certificate will be valid for 3 years. You can renew your award by resitting the course. |

First Aid at Work
| Who For: | High risk workplaces or where your First Aid needs assessment identifies the requirement to cover more serious injuries. |
| Awarding Body: | Highfield (RQF) |
| Level | Level 3 |
| Duration: | 3 Days |
| Theory Assessment: | Multiple choice theory assessment. |
| Practical Assessment: | Yes |
| Scheduled: | 3 Monthly at our Centre or on demand at your site/premises. |
| What you will need: | A good level of English literacy, the physical ability to perform First Aid exercises on the floor, NI Number and clothing suitable for floor based work. |
| Additional Info: | On successful completion your certificate will be valid for 3 years. You can renew your award by sitting the First Aid at Work Re-qualification course. |

First Aid at Work Requalification
| Who For: | Those whose, 3 day, First Aid at Work awards are due to expire. |

| Theory Assessment: | Multiple choice theory assessment. |
| Practical Assessment: | Yes |
| Scheduled: | On demand at our Centre or your site/premises. |
| What you will need: | A recognised and accredited First Aid at Work award that is either in date or, no more than 28 days past its expiry date on the final day of your requalification course. A good level of English literacy, the physical ability to perform First Aid exercises on the floor, NI Number and clothing suitable for floor based work. |
