I have never operated a forklift truck – how long will my training take?
HSE Approved Codes of Practice state 3 to 5 days. The vast majority of novices that we train achieve the desired standard within 3 days, however, some do take longer.

Why can you only train small groups on a plant course?
This is partly down to HSE Approved Codes of Practice, particularly when you are undertaking forklift training but also down to practicalities. Each delegate requires sufficient 1 to 1 time with an Instructor to ensure that both adequate training and assessment are carried out.

Do we need to have the plant in order to be trained?
Ideally, yes, you will have your own as it is preferred to train people on the plant that they will be using on a regular basis, however, if you do not have the plant right now either you can hire it or, we can and add the cost to your bill.
